FALL LEADERSHIP 2012

Fall Leadership Meetings

November 14–18, 2012

If you are participating at the fall 2012 meetings, you should have previously secured your hotel room at the host property, Embassy Suites Centennial Park, Atlanta, GA. All Leadership members were notified beginning June 18th that space was running out quickly. If you have not yet secured a room, please note that the hotel is now completely sold out, as are many hotels in the downtown Atlanta area.

Our first request, since all guest rooms have a full-sized sleeper sofa in a separated parlor, would you consider a roommate? Leadership member(s) that already have a reservation and have an available bed and/or sofa for a roommate --- please notify Terry Izaguirre at the ACPE national office, terry@acpe.edu, as soon as possible. The ACPE will create a list of roommate possibilities; it will NOT assign any roommates, but we would like to be able to put people in touch with each other to arrange a roommate situation.

If you would like to share someone’s room at the host hotel, please send an email to Terry Izaguirre, terry@acpe.edu, with your arrival and departure dates and if you are willing to sleep on a sofa bed, or only a regular bed. The ACPE will create a list of those looking for options. ACPE will NOT assign any roommates, but we would like to put people in touch with each other to arrange a roommate situation.

In the meantime, those without a reservation at this time must act immediately to secure a room at another hotel. You can always cancel it later if you find a spot at the host hotel. Below is a list of possible hotels. Note that the majority of hotels in Atlanta are in a sold out status. So, each of these below will have only one or two rooms available, depending on the nights requested.

You will need to determine your means of transportation between your place of lodging and the host hotel for the meetings. So, ask when booking your reservation about distance to the Embassy Suites Centennial Park and if it is walkable or if they have a shuttle that can take you there!
